Welcome to the Rosie O’Grady’s Women’s
Triathlon.
If you’ve never participated in a triathlon, the Rosie
O’Grady’s Women’s Triathlon is for you.
Come along and experience a supportive and friendly environment
for beginners, and competition for the regular Triathletes.
The 17th Annual Women's Triathlon will be held on Sunday
4th March 2007 and promises to be fun for the whole family.
By offering both the SunSmart Mini Tri and a long course race and team entries
in a friendly non-intimidating environment, it caters for
women of all abilities and ages.
In 2006, we had 720 competitors, 200 competing in a triathlon
for the very first time. Our oldest competitor was 72 and
our youngest was 10.
The event is held at Matilda Bay, Crawley, next to the University
of WA. Competitors swim in the Swan River, cycle past the
beautiful homes of Nedlands, Dalkeith and Crawley and then
enjoy a flat run along the river foreshore.
